John Hildreth is a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist based in southwest Virginia. His live performances feature visually dynamic acoustic guitar techniques as well storytelling and genre-bending arrangements. He utilizes a percussive, finger-style approach to the guitar, and his repertoire features original instrumental and vocal tunes, as well as a cross-work of covers spanning rock, Americana, world, jazz, and classical. His inspired style evokes the late, great Michael Hedges, as well as contemporary artists such as Kaki King, Don Ross, Andrew York and Andy McKee.
John is available for festivals, house concerts, parties, community events, club gigs, coffee shops, and the like. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for booking information.
